thanks- I found a great reference site which the pose/outfit are from www.oldphoto.freeuk.com. It's just a huge collection of Edwardian and Victorian photographs- you should check it out

that is gorgeous! i don't know how you do that with colored pencils. you rock!

thank you. And you have to work in layers- like on her face there is a layer of purple, pink and yellow, then I use the actual skin colors to blend the undertones, and on her dress there is a layer of light pink and brown, and I used the redish color to blend.
