You've always been such an inspiration for me. I adore your website :) and I love your work (as always). Someday, when I own a place of my own, I totally want to commission you to draw my place, teehee.
*drools all over your use of black and white*
I wish I knew how to do some of the stuff you do in these! Great job! <3
It really isn't that difficult- you just need quality materials to work with. If you wanted to start trying ink, I would recommend getting a Sumi stick with a grinding stone- it's super easy to control. I like india ink because you get a deeper black and more range of grey, but it's permenant and semi-difficult to make it go where you want... and rapidographs- I can't draw with out them!
np- if you want to get them cheap I would get a magazine from Jerry's Artarama or the Art Supply Warehouse. They send me catalogs all the time and it's the same stuff you could get in any art store around here for a lot cheaper!
I want my own house, too. Did I already say that? If I ever get my own house and you have some time, I have a commission I'd pay anything to have you do.
