Photos (mostly of the moon) and a watercolor sketch
I'm doing an identity campaign for the local historical society for my town for my Graphics 3 class, and my teacher wanted us to explore symbols in all different media and I thought my watercolor ones turned out nice:) I especially like the lighthouse and the freighter in the bottom corner.
The moon was soooo pretty that night, but sadly I left mt full-sized tripod at school and only had my little mini bendy one, so I wrapped it around a tree. I got mad because I thought that stupid car ruined my exposure, but I think it came out pretty cool anyways:) I always love taking photos in the dark at the end of my driveway because I end up standing very still (for the long exposures) and I like to think that when cars pass by they see a dark figure out of the corner of their eye and get creeped out...
This was from the next night- Claire saw it out of her bedroom window, so I set up my camera out of a window in the attic, all the while cursing that I left my tripod at school (which is why all of the other ones are realllllly terribly blurry)
On the boardwalk. I went uptown with the intention of sketching for my Graphics class, but once I actually got outside, the weather was waaaaaay too cold, so I took pictures instead.
The iceflow in the river (and that is Canada on the other side) It makes such a cool noise- I took a video with my camera- if you close your eyes, the ice scraping against each other sounds like frying bacon
And when I walked back to Alicia's house there was a swan in her canal
So pretty:) I got all excited, and then...
...it looked at me, and I got scared and ran away...haha
