the 1940's and a question

First, here is my 1940's look:) We are singing "Sentimental Journey" I attempted rolls, but my hair was not having it, and I really can't go against its wishes... Also my nice camera wasn't charged, so I used my mom's point and shoot, hence the crappy quality. I wish you could see the second me, but it is hard to be aware of your sense of space ( Read more... )

but it is hard to be aware of your sense of space when you have multiple personalities

That should be carved in stone! :D I really like the photo. I think it is my favorite so far. The Tatro sisters sing the standards...

I like the original image of Saint Michael. I LOVE saints and saint medals. I know Saint Sebastian may be overused, but I really like him.

when we get together we'll have to go antique shopping for saint medals:) antique stores and thrift stores are a good place to find them and what I like about old ones is that you know they have history:)

I may have to add St. Sebastian to my list. I don't know if I can draw something so gory though. I might have to work up to him lol

A triple you! How cool! And the photo does look like it's from 40's. Pretty awesome!

The artwork is also great. I like the color-intense versions better, I think...

I love the photo & your painting( I like the last one best). I can't recommend a Saint since I don't know any, not really. :(

That probly comes with not being Catholic- my roommate used to tease me endlessly for my medals (especially St. Anthony. I put that one on whenever I lose something and always find it within the hour) She called me a superstitious Catholic (all in good fun though)

thanks- I think that is my favorite also:)

You look great! I love how you staged the photo!

My favorites are between the first and second . . . I love the brightness in both of them, it just pops out so brilliantly.

And I gotta throw Raphael out there - throw in one of the underappreciated archangels!
