I thought my dad was perhaps joking or exaggerating when he said he had a bowling ball chained to his ankle in all of their wedding pictures... Well I found them today and he wasn't joking. There really is a bowling ball in about 85% of the pictures...

She said it was funny for about 10 minutes, but it was on the whole night and it's in all of their nice posed photos too... pretty much every pic that's not inside the church lol... I told her I can photoshop it out, but she said she's over it now haha.

I guess what happened is at my dad's cousin's bachelor party someone pushed him into some kind of livestock pen the night before the wedding and he broke his leg or something and he thought it was my dad that did it. My dad claims to have left the party before any pig-pen pushing occurred, but his cousin was super drunk and didn't believe him, and thus the bowling ball. My dad said someone tried to bowl with it and almost took his leg off- it was a real and very heavy ball... oh the 70's...
