Joe's mom just alerted me to the fact that there are photos from each week of bootcamp up on the Fort Sill website and I found Joe in a few of them... He looks miserable! And he has a retarded haircut and really lame looking army-issue glasses. It's kind of cool to see what he's been doing though (looks like non-fun though! Under no circumstances

After finding out about the glasses thing, that just sealed my "I will never join the Army" decision too. ACK!!! I had flip flopped on the idea of joining a branch of something over the years but nope...not now. LOL

Also... Joe is wrong about how all the girls in the Army being gross and rednecks... I have a friend who is probably one of the girliest girls I will EVER know (skirts and dresses all the time, heels to go with them, [had] long hair, nails done), and she joined the Army out of high school. Now she's a tough, hard ass, girly girl. :) She's really pretty too, the kind of pretty to be really jealous of....

lol- I could kind of see you joining something military based... The glasses are only for bootcamp. You can wear whatever you want after that (well they kind of limit your options for the advanced training too, but as long as they're "normal" glasses they're ok)

I'm happy there aren't any of those kinds of girls in his platoon!
