I've been cleaning my room in preparation for the family's upcoming move (We're not going very far, though) and dug up one of my linguistics books from college. Oh, never mind, got it!

Fun! This is why I thought of majoring in Linguistics. I didn't pursue it for fear of not being able to ever get laid.

I still don't get laid, but that's another story.

Oh man, that makes me feel sad, I can only read about a dozen of them.

The last two "records" in 22 are pronounced the same, right?

It's fun, although those things can be observed in other languages as well...

uninteresting = つまらない
interesting ≠ つまる

unavoidable = しょうがない
avoidable ≠ しょうがある

that poem always makes me thankful english is my first language. i can't imagine learning it. ugh.
