The short of it: I placed 27 out of 42. Which is great considering it is not my weapon I study.

Keeping in mind this is a friendly tournament where is it not approved or regulated by the USFA and to just have fun. It was fun getting to hang out with all the kids and fellow club members.
It was a change of weapon which I never practice and a completely set of different rules that was a good experience to learn and have fun at the same time. It's a completely change of environment because in Epee, most the people I fence are 40+ years old and are usually above 6 feet tall and slow, because that's just how Epee is and I am normally the young whippersnapper and shortest of all fencer. Changing to Foil, now I am fencing kids half my height and half my old and it just a new interesting feeling.
Needless to say My pool had a good number of strong Foil fencer and I ended up winning two out of 5 match. Regrettably I ended up winning my final Pol bout by injuring the poor kids to the point where he couldn't continue. (My Epee brutality instincts where I nailed him hard in the hand (not valid in Foil).
After in the DEs I defeat a young shy girl that was just intimated by my height and got away with just hitting by reaching and her not being able to reach me. The second DE I ended up going against the Head Coach which is also my head coach and it was one sided but I put him on guard and made him work to win. After I loss I stuck around cheer for a few of my young friends Aaron Ahn and Kevin Lee which they came 1 and 2 in the tournament. A lot of a fun for a mere $2, a lot better than a movie and such :)
