Meredith looked up from where she was busy turning up her iPod to drown out the stupid Christmas carols stuck in her head. Surveying George for just a second, she straightened up and walked on over, sitting down next to him. "Mag-" Meredith's brow rose, head tipping as she grinned knowingly. "Oh, really?"

Probably, she knew, she should have made some attempt to conceal how entertaining the idea was. Patting his arm, she tried her best to sound more serious. "Was it really that traumatic? It's just a kiss."

"No, it was not just a kiss," George protested, moving his arm away so he could prop himself up on his elbrows and glare at Meredith. "You don't kiss the guy who looks like Mark Sloan with a crazy tattoo and say it's just a kiss, because there are whole levels of wrong about it, not to mention he insulted my height, like there wasn't anything wrong about the whole thing already? And, oh, it happened because a cute Irish redhead pushed me into him."

George fell back again, staring up at the ceiling. "I feel like my head's going to explode."
