[Action & Voice]

With all the new electronics influx, I have two hopeful questions for everyone, especially you New Feathers. Does anyone have an iPod charger or could make one, and is anyone here really good with high tech security? NO LASER BEAMS!

[And other than that short post, she'll be wandering around Luceti, acting suspicious and "mysterious" and ( Read more... )

security devices, casing the joint, looking for riches, lasers suck, [voice], no lasers, [action]

[Jack is just chilling over here on this bench, with his little blue ox thing, while watching her walk by. It's a great view.]

Keep walking around like that, you might attract the kind of attention you don't want.

Oh, I don't know~ Wouldn't mind some attention from my not-ex. [Teasing about Valentine's Day.]

Assuming you could...

Is that a blue ox?! [O.M.G. Must pet it!]

[A frown at the 'not-ex', he's still sore about having his mind messed with and not being in love. At least, not enough to get her in the sack. That wasn't cool at all.]

I thought it was a cow. Or pig, or something. Ox makes sense too. [He has no clue about what fable it belongs to.]

He's got horns. And bulls aren't blue, they're red. [Obviously that makes total sense. Except where it really doesn't.]

He's not yours then? [Bounding over anyway, so much wanting to pet it.]

[ You're crazy, woman. ]

But what's high-tech security without a few lasers?

Not if you design 'em right.

[Well, by now Bruce has been in Luceti for a couple of days been getting a feel of the place. He's laid low to learn about the place as much as he could. Now it was only a matter of learning the layout of the village in practical terms.

And taking a walk is a simple, but inconspicuous way of doing it. And still going through with his plan of being as cautious as possible, he's wearing pretty normal clothing. A long sleeved sweater and blue pants with a trenchcoat which he actually wears fashionably. All in all, he looks pretty unassuming.

But when he sees Fujiko acting suspicious, like a cat-burglar, almost, his Batman senses tingle. But there's a better way to get a feel for this than potentially get Dark Knight on this. So, when his path inevitably crosses hers, he's prepared.]

Good afternoon, miss!

You too Mister!

[Giant smile. Gosh you're tall. Why is everyone in Luceti so tall? It's like the Malnosso have a thing for giants. Anyways, she's going to pretend that wandering around in a black leather catsuit is perfectly normal. Because it kind of is for her.]

[Well, he's not going to make a big deal out of it, instead, opting to play casual.]

What brings you out this way? Seems a little off the beaten path.

Oh... is it? [Looks around, somehow surprised.] Then what are you doing here?

Looking for something special, Fujiko?

Nope! Just looking.

[QUIET voice and leans in.] For treasure. [Because everyone knows there's tons of it in Luceti.]

[[Super quiet too.]] Isn't treasure quite the relative term? I see a little bit of treasure myself. [[Her finger points, but, with a tiny camera, who knows what exactly she- No, we know what she's point at.]]

[Laughs softly and twirls about to show off.]

Still. There must be something hidden here. Beyond just the obvious.

IPod.

It's a music listening device. I guess it's pretty advanced for the people here.

Oh, so it's like a radio? I've never even heard of such a thing, is it lost technology?

It's not lost, just new.

And it plays recorded sound files and uses headphones. So more like a phonograph, but mostly only one person can listen at a time through these earmuff-like things and the iPod itself is actually pretty small. Smaller than a hand.
