GAMING PRATTLE

On saturday I played La Fem Nikita in a game of FOW.
LFN needs the practice, she is playing a MOAB, so I was the sparing partner.

It was a close run and very costly game.
I lost two Grenadier platoon as well as the Machinegun platoon but had routed what was left of 1 of her Strelkovoy companies off an objective ( Read more... )

The last few days have been ups and downs for me, on retrespect.

The beginning of an end.
Sunday was Father's day but with my dad being bed ridden, it felt a bit hollow.
I don't know how long he has got, when he can't chew and swallow, then I won't be able to look after him.

My eldest niece gave birth to a 8lb something, daughter.

I've taken on the challenge to paint a friends's Flames of War russian army.
Mind you, just the vehicles, I'm not that stupid as to do the infantry as well.
7 T-34, 11 Shermans (he believes in lend lease), 4 SU-85, 2 SuU-122, 5 T-70, 4 KV-1e, 6 45mm AT guns, 4 76mm and 4 122mm artillery pieces.
