Before I clicked the link I thought to myself: "Our Long National Nightmare of Peace and Tranquility is Finally Over." Okay, I was off by a word, but I have to admit that I've thought of that article all the time over the past eight (!) years.

It's sad when The Onion has the power of Muadib to look into the future...
