Exactly, I would scan the whole thing in higher resolution, wouldn't resample the scans and there would be certainly less gray shades on the edges (to facilitate any editing work), for example.

It would be something like THIS for example.
The pages are "so heavily sticked together", that it's really hard to completely bent/force the spine.
Altough I'm open to suggestions and advices. Some years (and scanners) have past since my last scanlation project. Just tell me the/your standards, please :)
