On my LJ I have a mix of irl friends and online friends, and I feel that my irl friends are getting weirded out by my close relationship I have with my LJ friends. IRL friends + them asking about my LJ = omg no, dnw.
I've never had much in common with my irl friends as far as interests (kpop for example), so I love that there are so many amazing people on LJ that enjoy it too and I can share things with. I wish my irl friends would acknowledge/accept that... if not they could at least try to give my interests a chance. I have tried to share common interests with them, but they're all into Twilight, High School Musical, and romance novels. :|

I know that feeling exactly. I don't really have any true friends here in Gastonia. I have people that I'm nice to and hang out with so my parents will piss off. But honestly, I can't stand most of their true faces.

And I hate how they mock me for liking Asian guys or Korean pop. Like, wtf is thatttt. I don't mock you for liking rap. Maybe it's what's hot here, but I don't find it my cup of tea, but I respect you enough to listen to your music in your car and not bitch and complain. At least show me the same respect.
