CAVESTORY Wii IS AWESOME!

Finally downloaded mine, It's 1200 point.  I wont' go spoiling anything.

Not as big of a fan of the translations, but meh.  what can you do.  maybe I'm to used to the old ones.

was great though, I forgot all about the door at the beginning, and it killed me. =P

love this game!

I've been having some fun with it too. ^_^

I thought the translations were okay, I don't remember much from the PC version, though changing Balrog's "Huzzah!" was a little sad, but it's kinda funny the way they did it now, so it kinda balances out. ^_^

Also, at the end of the manual, it gives a shoutout to the Cave Story LiveJournal community. ^_^

Yep, if you hit the home button while playing, then select manual, I think it's the last one on the list and you click it and at the bottom is a little shout out. ^_^

Yes! This is mt first time playing Cave Story (no rock throwing!) and it's great.

SPOILERS!! THE DOOR AT THE BEGINNING IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE PLOT AND IT'S TRULY INSENSITIVE THAT YOU WOULD RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE LIKE THAT

yeah, It seemed like the sound effects where kinda loudish compared to the music.. but I wasn't sure if it was just my old TV ^_^;

Unfortunately, the looping on the classic music is broken. It loops from the beginning of the song rather than the loop point. This may not seem like a big deal, but if you listen to the "Access" music for long enough you'll see what I'm talking about.

Cave Story is a wonderful game.

That's pretty much all I can say about this port, with my teeth clenched, heheh.

I'm kind of disappointed in Nicalis. The way they have conducted them about this game and its status upon its final release is infinitely questionable.

But I'm glad you're all enjoying it. If that's happening then I can't stay angry.
