CROSSOVER: XXXHOLIC and DRUG & DROP

Hi guys

I just started reading Drug & Drop (the Clamp sequel to Legal Drug). So I am not sure if this was posted but OMG !! I totally squeed when there was a crossover between XXXholic and Drug & Drop.
I wonder if the timeline is correct.

I prefer spazz Watanuki than shop owner Watanuki

There's been a crossover with this series earlier, like in the first volumes Watanuki goes to the drugstore to buy anti-hangover remedy for Yuuko, and then there was a vase with narcisses brought to Yuuko by Kazahaya and Rikuo (not in person but still).
The timeline is rather akward, btw, it doesn't fit.

More like, it doesnt make sense.

In Drug & Drop it was mentioned that Kazahaya and Rikuo have been together a year, yet Watanuki looks like he has been the shop owner for years (yet Watanuki went to the GreenDrug store in the early volumes of xxxHolic)

Yeah, I meant this too. And since the two stories must be happening in one dimension, it's a plothole I guess (I discussed it with my friends and we all simultaneously presumed that CLAMP just prefer to draw a languishing Watanuki :D)

Sounds like a reasonable assumption to me. CLAMP is not exactly in synch with their Xxxholic fans in more recent years.
