Me, too, actually. :D My morning isn't nearly as bad as it could have been, but it just felt like a kind of off-kilter morning. Having Alexander up there makes it a little better, at least. :)
Yeahhhh, I need to do more of that, whoops. It's horrible-- I feel better when I'm productive, but I HATE doing it. Ahhhh, work, the curse of the drinking classes.

It's February, almost Spring! Truck Day is the 12th The days are longer and lighter, now 10 hours There's a pretty white dress hanging in my closet You can walk to work, thus accomplishing aerobic exercise daily There is a cute little dog here who loves you (no matter how you look!) Wes actually does come Home at the end of the day. :-)
Yeah, I hate those days when I have to start channeling Scarlett O'Hara before 11am (you know, "tomorrow is another day...") But I am so with you on the restorative powers of a bagel (or toast) and jam and a hot bath. Preferably with a LUSH product, but that's really just a bonus.
Also, so much sympathy on the whole relationship/living with a chemistry grad student thing. Any science PhD program is fairly rough but chemistry seems to take it to a new level. (A lot of the chem labs here have their group meetings on weekends or until 8pm... not that I'm never HERE at those times, but I imagine the entire lab would revolt if anyone attempted to schedule a meeting then.)
The day got better, but then I landed myself with a nasty cold. :( And since work is so busy, I haven't been able to take a sick day yet. But Wes has been very sweet (yesterday he got me dinner!), so I'll survive. I might take Friday off, if I'm still as tired as I've been all week.
Yeah, he's got long, loooong ass days. He gets to work/class by 9am, and typically isn't home until anywhere from 7 to 9. Some days he brings grading home, and then he'll get home by 5 or 6, but he'll be doing work until 10 or later. And yeah, his group meetings are Thursdays until "7:30", but they last until 8 or later. Plus, he's in one day on the weekends for a few hours.
Icing on the cake, for this week: Wes' 25th birthday is tomorrow. He's got work, classes, grading, and his group meeting tomorrow night. It's one of the busiest days he's had yet.
