i'm thinking of finally doing away with my dreds. i love the way they look. love, love, love. but they are so damn uncomfortable, no matter how well i take care of them. am i too heavy-set to pull off the buzzed look? hmmm... i need advice guys

going buzzed has less to do with weight and more to do with the shape of your head. i'm thicker than you are, and i've done it a couple times and it's worked real well. feel your head, if you have alot of bumps and divits, DONT DO IT. if it's relatively smooth, go for it. the good thing about hair, is it grows back! just get a fun hat to wear if it looks bad. =^.^=

ari, as i have shaved my head a few times prior to rading this, my suggestion is a lot like the one above (or under?) mine. if you feel confident enough to pull it off (and why shouldn't you be, you are beautiful) then buzz away. you will be pretty surprised at how fast it grows in, and plus it is so easy to mantain, which is always nice. i think no matter what you decide you will still look lovely.
