b) You are really quite good. I know the stuff you post here still needs some type of work, but I think you have real talent. I hope you choose to stick with it. Thanks for sharing this stuff.

Gillian is awesome. As for your compliment..I appreciate your feedback. I'm still working on all of these pieces, and am experimenting with different styles of prose, poetry; am working on a short story, etc. Posting drafts here makes me work on them more than if I just left them sitting on my computer screen.

The fire under my ass is the sheer potential humiliation factor of knowing that people can read them, unfinished...so better get to work. ;)
Anyhow, I'm writing a lot to prepare myself for an extension class I'm taking where I'm sure I'll be getting tons of ruthless and valuable criticism to help me improve. Since I'm Miss Autodidactic in training, this class, and others, should be very helpful.

It's a UCLA extension course. They're extension courses are excellent, especially the creative writing ones. My professor is supposed to be a hardass, so I'm looking forward to this.

I see that violet/gold light, too, but it envelops my entire field of vision, not just a person or an object.
