I don't usually post links to blogs, but I really like this guy Joshua Gibson, who writes the blog "Fagistan." It's dirty and funny and smart, and I'm always surprised to see what he rejects and what he enjoys

I'm not really the revived corpse of Hunter S. Thompson, one of the twentieth century's most useless bags of cellular matter. I am, in fact, the President of Fagistan. Thank you for your kind words about my takes on Culkin and sci-fi.
Also, I enjoy your 'Prose Before Hos" T-shirt . . . although it's ironic because Shakespeare didn't even write prose. The should re-do it with Jane Austen's face.

Hey, thanks for dropping by! I've been reading the blog since someone linked to it during the Steve Almond thing a while back, and enjoy it very much.
Jane Austen would be less recognizable than Shakespeare, I think, unless she was holding a movie tie-in edition of "Pride and Prejudice" with Keira Knightley's face on it.
Also, you're wrong about Hunter S. Thompson. And you seem like a man who appreciates being corrected.

I won't fight with yout about HST, but let's just suffice to say that I hate he's weasley, rotten guts. And why do you have to ruin my dreams of an Austen T-shirt? I think she's recognizable. but you could put g-d Hemingway on there too, his bushy gay beard will be a recognizable.
The posts came at the exact right time because I'd just skimmed over the book at Barnes and Noble and wondered what the hell it was. I think I would have enjoyed it even if that weren't the case, though.
Thanks for reading. Fagistan and I hope to do more dual-posts as time goes on. I'm trying to convince him to read "Intensity" by Dean Koontz - not because it's good by any stretch of the imagination, but because the movie "High Tension" derived its entire plot from the novel. That and my faggy friend hates pulp fiction. Anyway, it should be fun.
