I liked this new development. Well, it wasn't really new, but still, I liked it. The poor little lost boy, who had become a man was now steppin' up his initiative and movin' closer to the slayers.

To make myself know, or not to make my presence known, that was the question. I was always there, but this seemed like an especially good time to make myself known. The leaders of the house weren't home, and there was truly no power here at all.

It was too bad that Spike had let me down again, but not all fear had to be derived from actual violence.
