Candles, vodka and chocolate are on their way to you.
Hope you got home okay. Wow! You have exciting weather don't you? Ours has become boring...spring flowers are appearing, grass hasn't really stoped growing and it is hasn't got very cold at all this winter. I love frosty days but we haven't had any :(

Minor to moderate flood levels have peaked along the Pioneer River from Mirani to Mackay and are expected to continue falling slowly overnight.
The Pioneer River at Mackay peaked at 7 metres with the high tide at about 11am this morning. Minor river levels at Mackay are easing with the falling tide.
Upstream river levels have also peaked, with minor to moderate flooding easing overnight. Some renewed rises have been recorded at Finch Hatton on Cattle Creek, but these are only causing minor flooding.
Rain has generally eased in the catchment with no significant rainfall recorded in the 3 hours to 4pm. The forecast heavy falls could cause renewed rises overnight and will continue to be monitored.

Yep, one more week to go. Not sure if we can head up north for our holiday though. Looks like a low pressure up there could be forming a cyclone, poo.
Strange that you've had no frosty days over there, we used to get loads when i lived there, but I can't say I'm a fan of the frosty weather I prefer beach swimming weather.
Rain has stopped here but I dont know for how long, these tropical lows are exciting but also scary. I hope our house in Bowen is alright.
Forgot to mention I had my best month ever last month, made over $70K gross profit out of a mere 21 finance contracts. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sy had to pick me up from work last night in the Landcruiser, my little Astra would've drowned, we took some pics but couldn't send them last night as the infernal net at home was down.
mum here. Your weather sounds scary. I guess a hol would not be so much fun if you were in a deluge or swept along by a cyclone. No doubt Sy would love it though. I went back to school on Tuesday. I'll e mail you later and answer you brilliantly long e mail properly. love xxx
