Very nicely written little piece! Not too many people write from Leroux's perspective and that makes this just that much nicer.

I like how Christine - and I am assuming it is Christime - watches Erik at the organ, letting the music transport her away, giving her insight and understanding. First it is gentle and tender and then - much like a petulant child - the music becomes angry and throws a hissy fit. And isn't that much like Erik - sweet one moment and hissing the next. Ah - the reason why we love him. But Christine is still viewing him through the eyes of the musical spell Erik weaves and that only allows her a brief glimpse of the man.

Which is just FINE with me considering I am one of those damn heretics that thinks Christine belongs with Raoul ... (-:

Seriously - nice job and I hope you continue to write!

Thank you! See, I envisioned it completely differently than you when I was writing it. For me, it had a much more sexual nature. And so I think it's immensely interesting to see how different people interpret the situation.

I tend to bounce back and forth whether I think Christine should be with Erik or Raoul. My writing tends to be more E/C, but I have a definite soft spot for R/C as well, and so I'll read both. *shrugs*

Thanks for the feedback!

Well, I am finally catching up with all of my reading. lourdesmont will most likely shake her finger then roll her eyes at me, but I interpreted your writing as pure, subtly erotic...slash. Yep - my brain just went right to Raoul's POV. Although that was probably not your intent.

I simply loved the-first person POV in watching Erik play. Beautiful imagery. I also like how (whoever is watching) is careful to not let their presence be noticed, fearing Erik's displeasure, yet in the end, Erik weeps instead.

Slash or not, either way, Bravo, my dear! I look forward to reading more of your work.

Thank you! No, you're correct, I actually wrote it from Christine's POV, but I find it quite interesting that you interpreted it as Raoul's! Everyone seems to have a different interpretation of this.

I'm glad you enjoyed!
