Aw, that's a really sweet one. I especially like the sentence about the "jolt of guilt". The only (and very, very minor) problem I have is that the dialogue between the midwife and Christine doesn't seem entirely appropriate for the time period. But other than that, it's a very heartfelt piece. Bravi.
