It took me four flights before I even left Honduras. How ridiculous is that? My two flights were on this small two-propeller plane. I thought I was gonna die when it took off.
i just read your entry again (thoroughly, this time) and it really is awesome. i finished nickel and dimed today, so you're *really* touching an exposed nerve

Hm I am really tired right now but will read your comment as well as Michael's blog at a later date. I can already see how this would interest me..."Jeffrey Sachs" definitely stood out to me just now hahaha. Long live JDSACHS! What a guy, hm?
Michael I have not been keeping up with your travelblog or livejournal in general and I just stumbled upon this page right now. Will definitely read it through (hopefully soon) and talk to you soon as well! Take care, <3 Tania.
Okay so it's now 2:40am and I just commented that I would read your entries later but I totally just sat here and read through them all now. Anyway I'm glad your trip to Honduras was "better than expected" and happy to learn that you want to travel more, volunteer more, learn more. From here it just gets better and more doors will open for you. Glad to see you were able to fully appreciate your time there and find "clarity" in various aspects. It is easy to find inspiration in daily life but I think traveling and taking yourself outside of your normal comfort zone allows you to take diff perspectives and become all the more open-minded...so I hope you were able to find a peace that maybe wasn't acknowledged before...I'm sure you have, though. By the way you may want to look into Doctors w/o Borders (I'm sure you have done this already) but I've heard really great things about it, REALLY good things. Good luck back at school!
