Our school held it's culture festival yesterday. Sadly I have no pics or anything, but with any luck will get hold of some eventually. The third performance in the morning was the koto ensemble. The culmination of months of practise! 20 kotos, about as many singers, flutes, projected visual displays, conductor.. it was quite a show. But .. it ( Read more... )

Hahaha! That's awesome. Can't believe the kid just stole your shit like that. I don't think larceny counts as a disability. :b

At the moment, I'm helping one of the 7th grade classes learn "We Are the World", and today, their HRT told me to sing a solo in it. *rolls eyes* Gotta love it. Maybe this means I won't have to sing my own song. I don't know anymore.

Oh no. One of my teachers plays lame songs at the start of every class, and for all of October it was We Are The World. If I never hear Cindi Lauper's abrasive rendering of the otherwise innocuous word 'change' (she makes it sound more like 'chAYRAYARY!AINGGE') I might live happily.
