Nothing much to do at work over the winter holidays. Prepared some kanji study materials for a test in February. Scheduled my annual leave for when a friend arrives in late January. I think it's gonna be a really fun 'taste of Japan' for him. He's my first proper visitor so I'm testing out how to best show people a fun and authentic time here.

I think those sketches are great. I particularly like the first one.
It's funny how different the 2 sides of your school are - mikan and kaki fields on one side, ippai city on the other.
And, I'm jealous of your half days. I'm supposed to be here from 8-4 anyway, but since my teachers don't care what I do and my principal isn't here, I roll in at 9, take a 2-hour lunch, and leave a bit early. Still, it'd be nice not to have to sorta sneak around.

Yes.. I love my school for its awesome location.. it's like I'm king of the city when I look out at the view from the windows!
Yeah I think its dumb how they dont have half days for all the schools. Especially for us ALTs..
