It's mostly Bill doing those vocs, though Troy and Brann(!) do some as well. Remission is alright but I'm still weak in the knees over Blood Mountain.
The other thing about Brann (and I don't know if it was always like this) is when you see him live you realize how fit that guy is; his biceps and triceps look like two Volkswagons fighting over a parking spot.
I don't originally remember what Brann looked like when I saw them live in '01 because I was in the back of that room.
However, I did see one of his drumming DVDs playing at Guitar Center and the guy looks like my friend Shawn Page (ex-vocalist for Wings of Scarlet). They're both ripped ginger dudes covered with tattoos.
The weird thing about Gojira is that while I knew about them when they were a new band (my old bandmate corresponded with someone on their French label so I even have a 'Terra Incognita' postcard), and I think they're awesome, I still have yet to see them live.
Timing has worked against me on that. Let me know when they're around next.

I saw Mastodon play at Milwaukee Metalfest in 2001 before their 1st record came out and I loved their set. 'Remission' is still a crushing record.
