why do i have to justify this with a subject header?

Have you ever noticed how you start most conversations with the words "How was your day?"
It's as if we are genuinely interested in the human experience.
Stories come from action or inspiration that can only be experienced by living.

It's pretty fantastic.

I think most conversations start with "How are you?" which usually bugs me since I DON'T think it is out of genuine interest, you're just supposed to start off that way and respond with "Pretty good, you?". So it just becomes a chore.

How was your day, that's a question I enjoy both asking and receiving :)

I guess it depends on the person. When I ask how someone is, usually I'm genuinely interested. How was your day is more specific though and usually results in good conversation. =D
