My goal this weekend is to make it to one of the main branches of the New York Public Library and check it out, and by check it out, I mean do my homework there. Slowly and surely, I am discovering the city. Maybe I'll tag along with the I-House group that wants to check out Greenwich Village next week

What's Greenwich village in NY supposed to be like? I like how London and NY have equivalent place names...

It's taken me a year to feel like I could give someone a not too shabby tour of this city - and there's still quite a few basic places I haven't been to see - I'm sure you're discovering the city at a fine pace!

Hey Ri, I've been so so... the thing is that I don't know if it's affected us because I've been stuck in a classroom and feel actually rather isolated from what's going on (although I should really be on top of it... hm). How's living in international house going?

So West End, Greenwich, and Soho as well (although I understand the last one doesn't quite mean the same thing...)

i have never been to montreal! i hear great things though. i would love to go. 'cept that now more than ever, my living situation is draining my money. OH MY. it is eight dollars for either a sandwich or a pack of cigarettes. WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT A CHOICE TO MAKE.

but other than that, it is indeed awesome possum.
