Arcana: Judgement
Time Period: 1934

Name: Lev Isaac Lilienthal (People also call him Levi or Levy and he doesn't really care)
Gender: Male
Blood Type: B
Birthday/Sign: October 6 | Libra
Age: 17
Occupation/Grade: 12th grade | Senior
Room: 605

PB: Yousuke Togawa from Doushitemo Furetakunai

Appearance: Lev is generally rather lazy about his appearance, but he at least tries to meet the bare minimum when it comes to school, which means as few layers as he can manage during the summer and as many as possible during winter. He likes to think he was born a bit too hot-blooded, and can only manage so much heat before it just gets uncomfortable; who likes to sweat out the day in all those layers anyway? Normally though, he carries the jacket at his hip just in case, along with whatever schoolbook he'll be needing for the next class, and keeps pens and pencils in his front pocket (if he remembered them in the first place). Besides this, he wears mostly blacks and whites in regards to the uniform, avoiding gray if only because of personal taste... He does at times leave a few buttons of his collar undone as well as a loose tie, but he'll do them back up if requested of him. In winter, the story is more or less the opposite, and one can expect bundles upon bundles of clothing on him, including large scarves and thick gloves.

Weekend garb isn't honestly that different. Basically, his style is very casual for the 30s; t-shirts, slacks, a thin button-up with the sleeves rolled maybe, usually a necklace tucked away beneath. Lev also enjoys his share of exercise, and wouldn't be caught dead running in nice clothes anyway. Fashion is not his forte if you haven't noticed, but his casualness doesn't usually come off as sloppy. It's a type of laziness that doesn't always read as lazy. (Honestly, Americans dress too formally anyway?)

Lev's hair is thick and often untamed, even when cut as short as his is, and you'd be lucky to see him actually try to style it. That kind of effort is usually only reserved for formal dances, and even then, it's not unlikely to find a stubborn strand of hair sticking up. Being from an originally Grecian family, Lev's skin is also fairly tan and only gets darker when he's in the sun. That said, he's a bit pale compared to his fellow Greeks, but it's hardly noticeable.

Height-wise, Lev is fairly average, standing at around 5'9", and his build is equally normal for an relatively active male his age. He has some muscle I guess, but it's mostly in his legs -- otherwise, he's pretty slim and of an average athletic built.

Personality: There are very few things someone could find intimidating about Lev.

1. Weird name.
2. Foreign?
3. A bit loud, to be honest.

Lev is very personable in actuality, and there is no reason for anyone to ever be scared to approach him; he's actually rather pleasant to be around and is good at making small-talk. No one ever feels very awkward around him at least? He is rediculously good at reading people though. Lev loves to poke fun at people though too, and is thoroughly entertained when he can make someone uncomfortable or shy around him, always in good humor! In general though, he tries to at least be a good guy and help where he can, even though he's pretty blunt about a lot of things and can be embarrassing to be around sometimes.

What you probably wont see from Lev are open displays of stress or anxiety, or any sort of giddy excitement. He generally keeps his emotions in check, and while you might see him happy or upset, it'll never be anything extreme. He'll let everyone else be the expressive ones. It's not even like he's trying to hide his emotions or anything, he's just that mellow-

He might be a little too laid-back at times also, but Lev is trustworthy (not always dependable, however), even with his share of ugly habits. He smokes tobacco regularly and is familiar with alcohol, and Lev isn't kidding when he says that he likes to enjoy life and have fun without the consequences -- he definitely doesn't shy away from a good time. That doesn't mean that he's completely irresponsible though, and really he will only splurge on a drink of Raki when he's with family. He would go for it with friends but, well, they're all lightweights and doesn't really want to piggyback all of his classmates.

Lev is social and even pretty flirty, but not to the point where he has a lot of friends (or ever had a girlfriend). Actually, he's a bit of a loner who is scared to be close to others, which is something no one would ever guess of him he acts... opposite? Most of the time he just likes to take naps in his room and go for jogs and ignore his homework. But just because he has antisocial tendencies at times doesn't mean he isn't sensitive to the needs of others, because Lev can read you like a book, and he is very observant to emotions -- though his advice is almost always terrible. Lev doesn't always tell you what you want to hear, but rather gives you his honest opinion. Even then, people don't always take him too seriously. He's just very honest with his own feelings and assumes everyone else is too.

Academically, Lev is about as average as they get, though he does at least try once exams roll around. He's just not built with the intellect that so many others have at Adessi, but he mostly makes up for it in extracurricular activities (assuming he passes his classes).

History: Lev was the first and only son born to his family, both parents originating from Greece. He was lucky to be born to a fairly high-income family, bankers to be specific, because among the wave of eastern European immigrants at the time, they managed to avoid the slums and low-paying jobs. Not that Lev didn't live that sort of life anyway, choosing to play in the dirt and make homes out of cardboard boxes. It was a luxury that he never really appreciated, despite being an only child -- rare for the people in his family, when most of his aunts and uncles have like six children.

Things had been going well enough. A Jewish family, close-knit among themselves, but strict. While Lev was never quite a strict Jew himself and shied away from it's traditions for the most part, he did at least respect his parents. There was never a need to share his opinions on the matter, to be honest, and he'll still bow to pray or attend the synagogue with them, as well as honor the holidays. He was never really close to his own parents though, the people who kept him so holed up for most of his childhood, and who he argued with to let him play with his classmates. But such was life.

Did I mention that he was diagnosed with a fatal genetic heart disease at 4 years old? Well, it's the main reason that his parents never had more children, and why Lev was always so pampered by his family. He grew up with the pity of others, possessing a life of carefulness and very little to no exploration, unlike many other boys his age. He enjoyed playing outside with his classmates more than anything, but it was always under the careful eye of his mother. Anything strenuous was strongly prohibited to be sure. While most everything was done for him, it got old fast, and by the time he rolled into his teens, Lev was ready to move on. He was over it. Death has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember and he just doesn't give it a second thought anymore. It took a few years of convincing before his parents began to scout out a nice private school for Lev to attend for his high school career; possibly a selfish move on Lev's part, but his parents honored the request. Seeing as Adessi had opened up enrollment for boys, and was suitably close to home, they were willing to empty their pocket books to send their son to school there.

Away from home, he is able to participate in sports, and it's easy to spot just how hydrated he keeps himself while running on the track team. It's subtle enough for a person to wave it off, though there have been a few episodes where he's needed to retreat momentarily from the field. Exercise is certainly allowed for people with his condition, but he's known to push himself too far. Much to the stress of his coach. But, for the most part, Lev handles himself just fine -- it's a weak heart but a functional one. It's a disease that worsens with age.

A few more random notes: He's been an avid smoker since he was 15. His parents love hookah themselves, and they're really never seen a problem with a little tobacco. He has felt that it hampers his breathing, but taking a pause to clear his throat and catch his breath, the feeling is gone. It's just smoke; how bad can it be? Lev is also horribly short-sighted, but he just. Doesn't wear glasses.

He also hasn't really shared the fact that he's half-dead with anyone at school besides Locrine and some of the more important teachers at Adessi. He doesn't feel that it's necessary to tell people, and doesn't want to kill everyone's mood.

Weapon: Sabers (fancy antique ones too, which he will get from home)
Stats: Agility, Strength, Magic, Luck, Vitality
Persona: Asclepius (Apollo)
Strength: Strike Physical
Weakness: Electricity
Primary Skillset: Recovery
Secondary Skillset: Strike Physical

Other: Okay, he's not meant to be an angstbucket or anything, and I don't want his ailment to be the first thing on everyone's mind. HE'S GOING TO LIVE FOR A DECADE OR TWO STILL K?

Also lol, he's on the track team if you couldn't tell.

As much as I'd love to get into specifics on his ailment, I'm going to just keep it fairly vague for the sake of my sanity. I'm not a doctor and I don't want to claim to be an expert on anything, and I don't want to screw a real disease up.
