Very sweet!! You capture Cora's eagerness and anticipation as well as Robert standoffishness(is that the right word?) hesitancy maybe, in these few words very well. I can imagine it happened just like this. Nice work!!

Very nice. And very sweet. It is an interesting thought, what sort of physical intimacy arises in these marriages of necessity. I am glad that they do find actual affection for one another. Nice ending too.
