Ah, this sounds just like them. Sometimes I find them difficult to write as they have such a 'quiet' romance, and this really has that feel. :)

Yeah, you're right. I guess that's why I like them so much; their romance isn't always overtly spoken. Glad that you thought it worked, though. :)

I can imagine this as one of their hanging out in the hallway conversations. It does sound like them, especially with Anna knowing how far to push and where to retreat. And of course, The Mysterious Mr Bates.
