Downton_Land Sub-Communities
We have many communities here at downton_land which may seem confusing at first, but here's a handy-dandy guide for reference!
Downton_Land
This is the Main community. Notices, and important rules/etc will be posted here.
crawleyfamily and servingdownton These are the team comms. After your application has been approved, you will be invited to join just the one team comm. Anything can happen there from reminders, social posts, contests and gif parties! This is where you'll meet your team and join them in the battles between good and evil. Each team may be run differently, and you'll get a better feel of them when you join up. There are mods/co-mods, so keep an eye out for them as well.
dlbilliardroom:
This community will house all the points-earning games and challenges. There are things like crosswords, word searches, jigsaw puzzles, trivia...all sorts of fun things! There will be at least one challenge a week, and sometimes longer ones during the month. Games are worth (in general) 10 points for participation, but there are always extra random points to be had as well.
downtonlibrary:
Here is where all writing challenges happen. This could be from 6-word-fics to 1000-word fics! There will be at least one challenge a week, plus longer challenges throughout the month. Points will be awarded for participation, voting, and placement.
downtonpainting:
Here is where all the graphics challenges happen. These include icons, posters, advertisements, banners, and fanmixes. There will be at least one challenge a week, plus longer challenges throughout the month. Points will be awarded for participation, voting, and placement.
downtonfair:
This is a non-points earning community which can house games, posts from members, discussions and - anything really! It's also a great opportunity for you to meet and bond with members from the other teams. :)

Daily reminder posts for all the activities that are going on in downton land. Please join up if you'd like to keep up to date on what's happening.

This is where I put all the guides and extra non-essential information about the community; think about it as a housekeeping comm. You don't have to friend it, though sometimes your current Narrators will link posts from here in the main community.
