Murphy, if you're reading this, can you tell me what's going on? I can't leave the apartment now, there was something moving outside--I don't want to risk it. Is he really...?

I'm afraid so, Mia. But something's very strange about it. There are no marks on the body. It could be natural, but Harry's here already-he did a magical examination, I guess you could call it-and he says something's very strange about it. But we're not sure what.

Nothing at all? Have you...has he been...examined?

Nothing unusual for a teenage boy. Jordan should arrive any minute and she's going to take a closer look-she's a pathologist, so if anyone can see something I missed, she can. But there's certainly nothing obvious. My gut instinct is telling me this wasn't natural. Something did this to him.

Or someone.

Something that kills swiftly and leaves no marks? Christ.

All right. I'm going to do what I can to find out what happened to him from here.

Crabs. Vicious little monsters, about the size of a dog.

Oh, those annoying things...

Hn... How many, you think?

I'm not sure. Many more than I've seen around here, at any rate. They probably came from Cloverfield. Be careful if you go out.
