I think we should all get together for some ice skating. I mean, we have that great rink over at Rockefeller Center, and it looks like nobody's using it. It'd be a nice safe place to gather, because we'd certainly hear if the monster was coming and be able to get clear in time. It's where we found our last cache of food, so who knows what else will

So let me get this straight.

I'm not entirely denouncing that this isn't a good idea, but there is a time and a place for this sort of thing. And I know there had been some social gatherings in the past few weeks for the holidays, but neither of them took place in the wake of an incident that left a street in rubble and quite a few people injured.

Forgive me if I'm raining on the parade, but something strikes me terribly off to see that, after an attack had taken place that risked several causalities, someone announcing what a great idea it is to go ice skating rather than helping out in the aftermath. I'm sorry, but aren't there more pressing issues to be dealt with?

Am I the only one around here that realizes the Rockefeller Center ice rink needs constant maintenance and goes away in the summer? Unless you've got a Zamboni up your sleeve, you're in for an interesting time. Assuming there's any ice at all.
