Okay so NPR listed a top 100 list of Young Adult novels and seeing as I am in love with YA right now, I thought I'd take the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Top 100 meme and make a YA version

Oooo I should do this one. I've read a TON of those. Working in the children/teen section at Barnes and Noble was awesome. ^.^

Obviously it won't do much for you not liking vampires, but I rather enjoyed the Vampire Academy series :)

The Last Unicorn is one of my favoritest books ever :D

Yea, it's nothing against that particular series honestly, it's just that I don't do well with vampires. I'm very afraid of blood so I find that it makes more sense for me to avoid them.

OHHHH Stargirl, you need to italicize that one - it's one of my all time favorites!! Such an enriching yet really easy read - I always finish it in an afternoon.

I'm also sad you were never into Tamora Pierce. I wish they'd chosen Song of the Lioness instead of some of her other series for the list, but I suppose everything is amazing. She was my hero in high school.

I will be happy to check them out since now they've got a recommendation ;). I seriously want to read pretty much everything on the list (except Twilight. I might even be willing to try to stomach other vampire series.)
