Matsue passed away a day after the entry I wrote about her. Mom and Dad planned on bringing her to be euthanized the next day (it was Sunday, can't entirely blame them there), but mom found that she had died in the middle of the night. I've been reading up a storm.

I've slowed way down on A Game of Thrones purely because I don't want to get way ahead before the discussion. I have kept reading a chapter here and there though because it's a lot of book and there are a ton of characters and I don't want to completely forget everything. I made a really yummy dinner tonight, but of course it has to be on a night that Eric gets back rather late from martial arts. I'm still hungry too, which doesn't help, but that's kind of too bad for me. Yesterday we had freezing rain and on the way to Eric's parent's house I slid on the ice and my car hit a snow bank and turned around. The good news is that I'm fine and my car doesn't even have a mark on it so, yay. It was incredibly slippery, to the point where you couldn't even walk on the road.
