Man, you should watch Detective Conan (it's anime). The main character wants to be famous detective like Sherlock Holmes. In every episode, there is a mystery and it's really smart how he goes about solving each one.

Conan is a kid with huge glasses right? I remember. I like that anime. Actually I have some of its comic books in Japanese.
