Yes, Lily's still in there. But she doesn't answer Kaden's call, as she's slumped over the table unconscious. There's an upset bottle of Jack on the table and a bottle of empty narcotics. Someone hadn't wanted to interrupt someone's meeting with their father, but apparently went a little bit overboard.
Her name has barely left his lips when he sees her. In an instant his phone's out, dialing 911 -- normally he might assess the situation more, find out what she was up to, but he can feel the blood running down his face. She wouldn't be unconscious through that unless she was drugged, and if the table is any indication...
He checks for a pulse almost immediately, and the relief that washes over him just to know she's alive is intense enough that he nearly misses the voice on the other end asking the nature of the emergency.
Ken arrives in the doorway as he's speaking, relaying the address and pertinent information for the ambulance. For a moment, his father just stands in the doorway, rage on his face and his forehead bleeding, and then he actually takes in what's going on and his expression darkens even more. He moves forward, and Kaden stands up, taking a few steps to place himself between Ken and his sister.
"You're not touching her," he growls, then goes right back to the phone for a few more seconds. Ken stops,
