Steve, I've just been through this myself over the past two years. There's a lot of shit on the way for you and there will be some rough and awkward moments ahead. Ultimately they'll get through it, you'll get through it, and things will sort themselves out. It's barely been two years now since my parents split up...and now, while everything is different, things are good. My Dad is remarried and my Mom is getting remarried in October. They are both happier and better off. It was very hard for my Mom at first and I hated my Dad for awhile, but all you can do is let things calm down and settle. In the beginning it's very hard and there is just so much emotion and shite out in the open that it is pretty hard to deal with.

On the plus side, you'll have some new material for an album. :-)
