I find applying for jobs depressing. I think a lot of it has to do with having to condense your previous employment into these little boxes. Years of your life are synopsized into boxes. No mention of that great trip you took in 01 or that whirlwind fling you had in 03 or your grandparents dying in 98 or any other big life experience. Yes, I know,
