I've been vegetarian for almost 9 years, only for the fact that I just don't like meat. I've gotten crap from other vegetarians who are very into their cause, because I refuse to try and recruit other people to the lifestyle, and because I openly hate Peta for making vegetarians look like total jackasses. On the flipside, I get lots of crap from meat-eaters who immediately take a defensive stance once they hear that I don't like meat. So I'm pretty much embarrassed to just simply not like a certain kind of food.
