Stores closed due to SNOW

As much as I find Britain's incapacity to deal with a few inches of snow exasperating, it does have its perks - especially when you get to go home from work an hour early 8)

I'd like to see how it compares to Texas! We've had schools cancel because of ice on the roads, the possibility of snow, and once because of the sheer fact that it was cold.

Snow seems to freak people out. ;)

Schools are actually pretty good over here and don't close unless they absolutely have to...'cause for every snow day, we lose a day of the summer break! Although actually once my brother's school closed because of rain, and we get a lot of rain in England xD

I know!! I was saying this to my parents last night - they must be really out of interesting things to talk about if all they show nowadays is reports about the snow xD

"We have frightening news from all over Britain, Tim. An invasion by a white, cold substance seemingly known as "snow"! We have no precautions on how to deal with this new threat, though we do know how to counter rain ...at times!"

I was to a place over here in Norway where the temperature was down in -32.5 degrees Celsius xD My beard and nose hairs practically froze within seconds! D8
