so, the deed is done. i am employed...contract signed and everything. it was a tough choice, mostly because two of the offers were really good, but also really different, and i kept going back and forth between them. but, as i said, i am now a working person...or at least i will be starting this coming monday. it feels strange, and good. it's ( Read more... )

also, re shopping, i was totally with you, right up to that time zone bit. doh!

I'm around for shopping. I have some errand things to do related to unpaid parking tickets and a license that needs to be renewed, but other than that? Very flexible.

Congrats to the two of you and congrats on choosing a job! :-) I was (am?) in the exactly same boat as you (read: needing work clothes and seriously disliking shopping) and found Anne Taylor to be a very nice one stop shop for business casual nice tops. I don't know what kind of work clothing you need, but everything else was super painful.
