Hawaii. With solarsteel.
She wasn't sure what she'd been expecting when she and Clark stepped off of the Queen Industries jet and onto the island of Kauai, but it definitely wasn't to be greeted by women in grass skirts draping flowers over her neck and Clark's. She smiled anyway and glanced at him with raised eyebrows. At least it was a friendly greeting, she supposed.
Lois wasn't surprised that there was an actual limo waiting for them and she rolled her eyes a little at Oliver's antics.
Of all the places she had traveled to with her dad for his military work, Hawaii had never been one of them. But the sun was warm on her face as she tilted her head back to look at the sky, and all around, as far as she could see, was clear ocean water.
"Wow," she whispered.
