At the suggestion of orbific, I've been watching Dexter, a series about a serial killer who kills other serial killers. A sociopathic vigilante if you will. I'm only up to episode eight, but I think I'm liking it. I'm not so sure why though. The killing didn't bother me to start with, but in the last few episodes it's really started to annoy me. I've only seen one episode, I dunno which one it was. But he came across a killer that drained the blood of all his victims...

I remember going to dinner at my grandads and asking if he'd watched it and he went 'yeah, I thought it was a load of crap'

I love Dexter. It's great stuff. Read the books, they're quick (to say light might not be entirely correct). The 2nd book is nothing like the 2nd series, and the killings are just really creepy.

Yup, that's why is says (something along the lines of) based on 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsey' in the opening title/credit sequence. Second book is 'Dearly Devoted Dexter and the third book is out soon, or now? Unsure. They are quick easy reads, good fun. I enjoyed them and the tv series, different but both good in their own ways I think.
