Why do I hate Bono so much? WHY?!

I used to love U2 when I was younger and now, the very sight of Bono sends me into a mini-rage. I know he's done a billion and four things to help people, but for the love of GOD....He just irks me

I like his music and I don't normally mind his choice of dress, but looking like a 70's porn star with a Michael Jackson glove does nothing for me. Surprisingly. :)

I feel the same way about U2 in general. And like you I don't know why. I just... they piss me off. Just them existing pisses me off.

The strange thing is...I dig the rest of the band. I like The Edge (he's mad talented) and they do make some good music...But for the love of Christ, Bono just shows up EVERYWHERE. Flapping his damn mouth all the damn time. Grrrr. But yeah...his existence is annoying, I agree.

THEY JUST KEEP WINNING. It's annoying. Their last album was okay, but it wasn't THAT good. Not better than the Foos or Neil friggen Young, in my opinion.

According to my brother, U2 lost its cool juice after Rattle and Hum. But then he also thinks DMB lost its cool juice after Under the Table and Pearl Jam lost its cool juice after Ten. Not stating whether or not I agree with all of that but it's a possible cause of the ICK BONO reflex. ;)

I think he's doing a lot of good things, but I see him doing that more than in his band so when I see him in the band setting I still think I'm getting preached at. Sorta.

Was it a good show? I didn't watch.

Hmmmm it's very possible your brother is right. About U2. ;) I think DMB made some damn good music after UTT&D. And Pearl Jam has some incredible stuff after Ten! haha.

Anyway, Bono is doing a lot of good things and I applaud his efforts on bringing attention to worldwide causes, etc. But do I need to see his GD face everywhere?!?! No.

It was okay. They don't show many awards, just a lot of performances. Some good...some...eh.

My brother is sort of a musical snob. *L* I like stuff after from all three. I just can't listen to U2 and picture Bono. Videos are totally out of the question. *shrugs*
