So, Remember when I said my job was going good? Well, the job just plain went.
I got laid off due to a shortage of work they could give me.

Anyone know of any job openings anywhere for any work?

I'm going to try. Unfortunately, it looks doubtful because my parents are building a decck for the backyard, which means a shitload of manual labour, which I will undoubtedly be signed up for.
But I'll do my best to make it.

please do, i don't see why you'd be forced to build a deck on a friday night :P

also, i think it's been almost a year since i've seen you. this isn't right!

Check out jobbank.gc.ca for a lot of listings for jobs of all types and if there's a job resource cenrte anywhere in your area check it out. I went to one a few days ago and they were really helpful with both my resume and job hunting.

That really sucks.

I know it isn't great, but the U of T bookstore is now hiring... during the summer months, it's pretty relaxed and stuff... well, until textbooks have to be bought in between June and July, and at the beginning of the new semester. It's about $8.12 an hour, and 30 hours a week. Not much, but it's closeby; plus, there are some great books to read there!

hmm, sounds promising. Will it hurt my chances since I go to Ryerson? Are they schoolist like that?

They'd probably lean more towards U of T students, but, I dunno... it's worth a try.
