This fic is set a few weeks weeks after the kiss in the parking lot, but it was just a kiss goodbye as Luke headed back to work after lunch.  There was no heart emergency.  There was no train.

This fic was inspired by scotianova and her fff fic about nurse gretchen crushing on dr. oliver

He bit back a smile and watched Reid now approaching the nurses' station, pulling a scarf around his neck and slipping on black, leather gloves.

Reid looked at the nurses and gave them a chin nod, before standing close to Luke. "You ready?" Gretchen watched Luke nod and press his lips to Reid's. Reid smiled into the kiss, and Gretchen felt a blush coming to her cheeks as she watched Reid's tongue just barely come out to graze Luke's lips before he pulled back. "Let's go. I'm starving," Reid said, before giving Luke one more peck on the lips. Luke slipped his hand into Reid's and trailed just slightly behind him. As they walked away, he looked back and lifted his eyebrows at Sandra before smiling and mouthing the words "He's mine."

"And Dr. Oliver?" He pursed his lips and shrugged his shoulders. "He's okay, I guess..."...Oh yeah I guess he's okay what a brat our Luke is and I agree with the nurses they are both very, very, lucky to have each other....uh-huh some scorching heat going on between those two!!

I can totally see Luke doing that, especially since he overheard their conversation. :) He IS a brat and we love him for it. Lol.
